Rebalance My Body
TREATMENT OVERVIEW
BEST FOR

Rebalance My Body is our deep tissue massage perfect for those with very tight muscles and need a strong hand to work them out. Not for the faint of heart but great if you prefer, or need, firm pressure. Contrary to the belief however, deep tissue can be relaxing and is a really beneficial treatment. It increases the flow of oxygen and blood to the muscles and helps the body to remove toxins and waste products from sore, tight muscles. Trigger point therapy can also be incorporated into this treatment to help get rid of any tight 'knots' in the muscles.

  • After post gym work outs

  • Injury or muscle strain

  • Alleviate aches and pains

Your therapist will arrive about 5-10 minutes early to set up and do a client consultation, this will include understanding injuries, allergies, pressure and what oil you would like them to use. Your massage therapist once set up will give you some privacy for you to get undressed at a level you are comfortable with(you must wear underwear) and ask you to position yourself on the massage couch for your treatment to start. Along with the health benefits of massage, it is to help you relax so your treatment is normally done in silence, but if you wish to talk to your therapist throughout your treatment that fine too! It is normal for your massage therapist to ask you questions during your treatment, this will include asking about the pressure they are using and if you are comfortable. Do feel free to let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort during your treatment. Once the treatment is finished your massage expert will give you 5 minutes to rest on the bed and get dressed. Once they re-enter they will answer any concerns you have and take feedback from you.

Does this type of massage hurt?

This massage can be uncomfortable depending on the amount of pressure you have asked your therapist to use and if you have asked for trigger point therapy. Please tell your therapist if you need her to adjust this pressure at any time.

What oil is used for this treatment?

We suggest using our Muscle Relief oil for this treatment as the essential oils used are blended specifically for removing toxins and relaxing the muscles, but it is completely up to you. Your therapist will discuss this with you during your consultation.
